Drama Club is open to all MVHS students who enjoy watching and participating in theatre. The goal of Drama Club is to support the MVHS Drama program. Meetings are held once a month on Wednesdays at lunch in the drama classroom (room 601 in the performing arts building). Listen to the daily announcements at school for meeting information.

 

 

So what can I do in Drama Club?

  • Attend professional performances in Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego.
  • Work on Trick or Treat So Kids Can Eat - Our Halloween Food Drive for community serivce!
  • Travel to Theatrical Centers Worldwide. This year's proposed trip is to HOLLYWOOD in FEB 2006. Past trips include New York City (2007,2004, 1999, 1997), Hollywood (2009,2006,2003), Greece (2001), and London (2008, 2005, 1999).
  • Attend various Theatre Festivals throughout the year.
  • Attend workshops taught by professional theatre artists.
  • Be a part of club faire in the Fall and Spring
  • Be a part of the South Orange County RoleAbout Theatre Festival as a volunteer or participant.
  • Fundraise!
  • Social Events ... ice skating, broom hockey, bowling, movie night, and more.
  • Usher at MVHS performances.
