"Singin' in the Rain"
Spring Musical

MVHS brought a widely-loved MGM musical to the stage with the 1998 production of "Singin' in the Rain." Set in Hollywood in the roaring 1920s, "Singin' in the Rain" is the story of a movie industry turned upside down by the invention of the"talkies." The show successfully highlighted both the media and performing arts departments with a combination of entertainment - film making and musical theatre - for a unique theatrical experience. Featuring glamorous costumes and sets, spectacular tap dancing, lavish music, and favorite songs such as "Make 'Em Laugh," "You are My Lucky Star," "Good Mornin'," and the title number, "Singin' in the Rain," the production captured the era of this famous musical and provided entertainment for all!
