SECTION I

Production Communication Procedures

The most difficult thing confronting any organization is communication.  In a theatre production, clear communication between the director and the company is vital.

The Callboard – The callboard is the place where important information regarding the day-to-day business of the production is posted.

1.       A call is mandate to appear!  Members of the production company (cast & crew) must consider themselves subject to all posted calls.

2.       Check the callboard at least once a day if changes have been made to the callboard/website, the date will change on the MVHS Homepage.  All rehearsals will be posted on the website.

3.       Important notices may also appear posted on the door to the drama room (600).  If a notice is posted here, you are responsible for knowing and adhering to its contents.

4.       The director, assistant director, stage manager, choreographer, and/or designers are the only people authorized to post notices on the callboard and/or the drama room door.

5.       Never remove an item from the callboard without specific permission from the stage manager.
