Jenny Beck (2004) – jenny_e_beck@hotmail.com

Hi Loves!  I’m up at USC and loving it entirely.  I’m a B.A. Music major with an emphasis in Jazz Studies Bass, though I may switch my emphasis to composition or try to just sort of double emphasize, if that is possible J.  I am also in the academic honors program and am planning on pursuing a minor in Theater, so I’m happily very busy.  For the first time in my life I am getting regular private bass instruction and it makes a! ll the difference in the world.  Life is wonderful, isn’t it?  Well, good luck to all and God Bless!

Kimberly Chemers (1997) - ocprinsessa@yahoo.com

Since graduation in 1997, I have had quite a few accomplishments. FIrst, I graduated from Saddleback College with an AA Degree in Spanish, then I headed up to northern CA for my BA in Political Science from Monterey State University. After finishing up my undergrad, I decided to take some time off and do some traveling. I went all over Europe including Ireland, England, France and many more just to name a few. In the summer of 2003, I appeared on my first TV show! Classmates! They filmed at MVHS too since I was meeting a secret crush that I met there while attending MVHS. ANyhow, pretty exciting to be the star of your very own show! It was great! After that, I decided to get a full-time job in Human Resources which I am currently doing now. I also decided to go back to school and obtain a Master's of Science in Human Resource Management which I am still pursuing. I am attending Chapman University part-time while working full-time. It is really difficult to work full-time and go to school but, very rewarding. Oh, one last thing...I'm blonde!  Yep, I underwent the transformation and will never look back! I love it! Well, I hope all of you guys are doing well and loving life as much as me. Good to hear that you are all still keeping in touch. Good luck to you all! xoxoxoxoxo

Joanna Cleland-Jolly (2000) - jcleland@blizzard.com

Hey guys, just wanted to give an update. I work for Blizzard Entertainment now (Creators of the Warcraft, Starcraft and Diablo series). I’m working in Creative Development and I actually have started living the dream of working in the video game industry and even creating some artwork for it. Who would have thought that my simple costume design for our shows would have progressed into outfitting video game characters for promotional events and such? I work on assisting our internal teams as well as helping bolster our third party products (ex. World of Warcraft – Trading Card Game). Oh, I got married this year (July 22nd 2006) to Ian Jolly, who is also an MVHS alumnus. We still live in Orange County, but we’ve moved north a bit, into Irvine. Hope everyone is doing well!

Desiree' (Desi) Davar (2000) - jazzdancer@cox.net

Its Desi! Here's what I've been up too....I recently graduated from AMDA (The American Musical and Dramatic Academy) in NY. I've been auditioning like crazy and doing very well. I am in Wisconsin at The Fireside Theatre doing Beauty and the Beast for 3 months this summer. I am playing a Silly Girl, and a spoon and napkin as well, it opens May 19th....In NY before I left I was the assistant choreographer for a teacher of mine from AMDA. I helped put up "ONE" from A Chorus Line, at the Rainbow Room in Rockefeller Center, it was a wonderful experience.  I am so excited to have my first professional theatre contract, it is wonderful. After the summer I go back to NY and wait to hear from some tours, and continue to audition...I love it! Good luck to everyone.

Jeffrey Matthew Davis (2002) - jdavisbruin@yahoo.com

Jeff is still livin' it up at UCLA.  He's currently working on a major in Theater Directing and a Minor in Labor and Workplace Studies.  This summer Jeff interned at the Flint Center for the Performing Arts in Cupertino, California for two months, doing everything from working in the box office to assisting the event coordinator to cleaning trash cans (and yes, the first two jobs are much better than the third).  Still, the highlight of the summer was getting to meet Andrew Lippa at a preview performance of his new musical "A Little Princess."  Go buy the CDs to his shows, especially "Wild Party" and "A Little Princess" when that one gets released.  They're great, and he's a really nice guy that deserves your money.  Jeff's future plans include directing a full length show at UCLA this fall (that is if he doesn't go nuts with fixing up his new apartment), and dabbling in writing.  Lots of love to Mrs. Harris and the class of 2002!

Yara [Gonzales] Brighton (1998) - bluejean61@juno.com

Hi everyone! I just visited this website for the first time and it seems that you are all doing well and have done some impressive stuff! My husband, David and I just celebrated our 3rd anniversary this last September, and we've just become parents. Our beautiful daughter, Gwen, was born in August and we just adore her. I'm living in Santa Clarita and have become one of those full-fledged, abnoxious, stereotypical stay-at-home moms; going to playgroups and spending my husband's money. I only need the SUV and some cooking skills. I also play guitar in my band, and occasionally in my husband's band, which I thoroughly enjoy.  Oh- and I'm sporting a pretty sexy mullet... joking.  It was great reading about all of you; rock on with your bad selves...  God Bless!

Courtney Moon (2001) - fantmgrl@aol.com

Hey everyone...Courtney here to update again.  As of right now I am not involved in a show, and I am working full time at Medieval Times as Princess Esperanza.  I just got done performing in Assassins at the Hunger Artists Theatre in Fullerton.  I played Squeaky!  It was an amazing show.  I'm still avidly auditioning, so hopefully something good will come along soon.  Never give up, and always follow your heart.  It's getting me through life, it will get you through it too.  God Bless!

Tiffany Moon (1998) - TiffMoon@msn.com

Well, it's been awhile, so I figured I would update! I left Central Casting in September and moved back to Orange County. I am working at a video production company in Orange as a receptionist/ production assistant/ jack of all trades. Plus I will be working part-time for Central Casting as an on-call Casting Director on the weekends. I've been doing a lot of theatre, and I will be Assistant Directing the main company and Directing the second company of a new play called "Venus in Orange" at the Victory Theatre in LA. I was in the original cast when we workshopped the show at Cypress College, and then was asked to help direct at the big premiere in LA. It's very exciting. The writers, Paula Cizmar and Laura Shamas, are both well-known LA writers, and the piece is sort half mythology and half reality, with a heavy dose of performance art.  That's all for now,Tiffany Moon
