Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Cappies originally started in 1999 in the Washington DC area. The Orange County Cappies (OCC) started during the 2003-2004 school year. OCC is the first Cappies program in the state of California…and west of the Rockies. The 2004 Mission Viejo Critics Team is one of the original 11 schools in the OCC.
