Shakespeare – In General

Mr. William Shakespeare and The Internet

Hands down, the best, most comprehensive site on the net.

VMI’s Shakespeare & Renaissance Page

Another great site.  This is geared more toward the college student, so, if you are ready to take on the challenge, dig in.

The Interactive Shakespeare Project

A smaller site than the others above, however, the content is solid.

We are a small audio theatre company dedicated to providing freely available Shakespearean audio performance online, for the benefit of educators, students, theatre people, the disabled, those in rural areas or overseas, or to put it simply: Everyone! We currently have two full play recordings available: The Tempest andTwelfth Night. We intend to complete four shows a year starting in 2006.

The next shows to be posted are As You Like It and Pericles, Prince of Tyre.

We also have sample sonnet readings, and various monologues. All of our plays have online texts to read along with. These texts include roll-over definitions of difficult or ambiguous words.

The Virtual Globe Theatre

3D Modeling of what it may have looked at inside of the Globe Theatre.
